Our Technologies

Imorphics technologies are built around a family of 3-dimensional statistical modelling techniques, originally developed by founders of the company at the University of Manchester. Imorphics has taken the publically available statistical modelling techniques, and extended them using proprietary patent-protected technology.

Imorphics technology can be used to model almost any anatomical structure – our research has involved bones, muscle, cartilage, menisci, bone erosions, synovitis, sub-cortical brain, prostate and kidney. Imorphics modelling technology works on any 3-dimensional image type: CT and MR images are the most commonly used in medical imaging. Models can be built from multiple image sequences in MRI, or combinations of MR and CT images. Where necessary, statistical modelling techniques are combined with other leading image analysis methods, such as classification, feature extraction and image registration.
